 The Dutch have a saying "Als je voor een dubbeltje geboren bent zal je nooit een kwartje worden"

Which roughly translates as : "If your were born a penny, you'll never be a shilling"

Meaning you if you were born poor, you'll never be rich.

But I like this version the best
"I was born a Penny and now I am Priceless" :~)))
