cuckold

Cuckold is a historic derogatory term for a man w
ho has an unfaithful wife. The word, which has been in recorded use since the 13th century, derives from the cuckoo which gives up nurturing its own by laying eggs in other birds' nests.

The earliest written use of the Middle English derivation, cokewold, occurs in 1250.

Now a rare term, wittol was once a common term for a complaisant husband who
was aware of but condoned his wife's infidelity.

Right, so what's the female version then ?!

A little research yielded Cuckquean :Originally the feminized word for the male oriented "cuckold". The term nowadays seems to be used both in and outside of the kink lifestyle to denote a woman who's husband openly commits adultery with her full consent and acceptance. This consent might be openly spoken of (and among the kinky set, usually is) or in some cases is more implied, by a woman who does not leave her husband despite numerous infidelities. She may also help him find partners and even gets involved in the act. The term cuckquean, while not as old or well known as the term cuckold, dates back at least as far as the 16th century.

The Internet is a huge resource but sometimes you
wish you didn't know about some things !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happened to love and romance ??
