bad management

My partner has worked at his present job for more than ten years and always got on well with most of his colleagues and managers.... but he has now become the victim of the badly managed reorganisation plan.

here's the story in pictures:

1. He's become a spanner in the smooth works.
    they don't appreciate his opinion.

2. Management communication is          mumbo jumbo or non-existent

3. This results in heated discussion

4. They invent excuses and refuse to
    give any feed-back

5. They resort to vague emails

6. They finally suggest mediation via
an external bureau, but the situation
is now completely out of hand.

7. He asks himself if its worth
the hassle of trying to get
   them to apologise or
   acknowledge their mistakes.

8. So the question remains >>>>>

9. Meanwhile stress levels rise....

10. He resigns :~))

Gandhi had the right idea

A 2010 Gallup management study of one million employed workers confirmed that having a poor relationship with the boss is the number one reason people quit their jobs. “People leave managers, not companies … in the end, turnover is mostly a manager issue”
