 Came across a reference to dachshund racing... it seems to be really popular in the US.








You have to love those floppy ears :~)

The name "dachshund" is of German origin and literally means "badger dog", from Dachs ("badger") and Hund("dog"). Because of their long, narrow build, they are often nicknamed wiener dog or sausage dog.










They even have races with them in themed costumes. I guess you would'nt want to bet on this little guy
