'"Damn everything but the circus! Damn everything that is grim, dull, motionless, unrisking, inward turning, damn everything that won't get into the circle, that won't enjoy. Isn't it great when someone says something that you knew all along, but could not, yourself, put into words !
He had loads of quotes in the same vein :
“The first step to expanding your reality is to discard the tendency to exclude things from possibility.”
some audio readings of his work HERE
He seems to have been a somewhat eccentric, bohemian poet (2,900 poems!), painter, essayist, author and playwright. He didn't believe in capital letters! He had his name put legally into lower case, and in his later books the titles and his name were always in lower case.
thanks Begijn :~))
