black holes II

This is a picture of a black hole. Can't see it ? That is the whole point of black holes.... they are invisible !

First mentioned by geologist John Michell in a letter written to Henry Cavendish in 1783 of the Royal Society:
Then in 1796, mathematician Pierre-Simon Laplace promoted the same idea.
In 1915, Albert Einstein jumped on the bandwagon with his theory of general relativity




I struggle with the concept, and until I've seen stuff disappearing into one, I'll keep my scepticism in tact.
