I have always loved 2nd hand shops, jumble sales, thrift stores, garage or yard sales, charity shops and of course sites like eBay.
Born just after the war in the UK. I was brought up on "make do and mend".
I greatly preferred shop bought hand-me-downs from my cousins to the home made frocks and knitted jumpers my Mum produced. I still do !!
