my week of labels....

I put a new tee-shirt on today and within 2 minutes I was being scratched to death by the label at the neck. Why to cloths producers seem to find the most irritating and scratchy labels for their cloths ??

They are usually made of some type of stiff nylon and very rarely of cloth....

They are often really difficult to remove, especially if they've been sewn on with the integral part of the garment. This lady has made a website about how to remove the damn things :~))

=========================================

Yesterday i bought some new cups. They too had (sticky) labels on them- 4 to be exact ! one from the manufacturer, one from the shop, one with the price and finally one for 30% discount. Two of them were easy to remove, but the others needed to be soaked in water or removed with nail varnish remover. I once wanted to buy some suede shoes in the sale, but they had a huge great sticker on one toe - impossible to remove without leaving a stain :~((

TIP : This lady uses a hair dryer to warm the labels for easy removal and here's a video  with a slightly more complex procedure..

While search I found this American Goo Gone stuff. You can buy it via Amazon or in the UK HERE

In Holland available HERE

So a solution in a solution :~))
