forest bathing

There is a new phenomena in Japan: forest bathing, called Shinrin-yoku in Japanese, Samrimyok in Korean, is a short, leisurely visit to a forest and is regarded as being similar to natural aromatherapy
So it's NOT bathing in a cool pool or lying about in the grass,
it's simply taking a walk in a forest :~)

Their research reveals that the, most fir type, trees give of aroma's that increase one's inume systeem.

This website explains how to take your walk.......

The Koreans have junped on the bandwagon and have created incorporates foprest walking into a nude beach resort located in Changxing Yap Ushiyama.

Men and women can not only walk naked in the woods  but enjoy the mountains and meditate.

And here is a new sensational twist on traditional communal bathing (in the forest) in Japan. What could feel better than marinating in a hot pool?

To have red wine, green tea, coffee, rice alcohol and dark chocolate enhance the experience. It is not only about aromas (it is verboten to drink the concoctions), but also about deriving benefits from the anti-aging properties of green tea and coffee or get a major warming "friction" from sake.....
