it should be illegal NOT to have a SatNav

A friend of mine was crossing the road on a zebra crossing yesterday and suddenly a car came around the corner and hit her. She's got broken ribs, broken collarbone and a head wound from landing head first onto the tram rails.

She'll be in hospital till Saturday when she will be moved to a recuperation home nearby. She lives alone so can't look after herself. She's just come out of chemo therapy and was getting back to normal when this had to happen :~((((

The driver was lost and looking at a map at the time and just did not see her.

GET A BLOODY SATNAV !!

Apart from getting you to where you want to go in the most efficient way, it means you can keep both hands on the steering wheel and your eyes on the road.

People go on about the navigation side of SatNav's but the safety aspect is hardly ever mentioned. This is the a real bonus for road safety !! They should be compulsory by now !!
